All Good Things....
Updated: Jul 18, 2020
The old saying goes "all good things must come to an end". Regretfully, that's true. Fortunately, however, this is not the case with my content. With YouTube being consistently unreliable as an income source for content creators that have conservative leanings as well as for those who challenge societal norms, it has become a source of frustration that has left many people like myself seeking a better alternative to have our voices heard. Currently there are few alternatives to YouTube simply because it is backed by Google. I could challenge their motto of "don't be evil" simply by citing their censorious nature as well as their political bias, but with post-modern thinking, I would be hard pressed to find many in silicon valley who would agree with me. All tyrannical entities believe they are right and big tech is no exception.
Instead of worrying about being politically correct in order to fall in line with the latest leftist narratives, (I say latest because it changes with each new manufactured outrage) I decided to look into the possibility of moving all of my content to a different platform. BitChute will hopefully be an option in the future, but without monetization, it's not really an option for someone who is a full time content creator. Even if I were able to obtain sponsorships, it still wouldn't be enough to make ends meet. I have a SubscribeStar, but it's hard to create exclusive content often enough to make it worth it to the subscribers. Same with Patreon. Patreon also has the reputation of being just as bad as YouTube when it comes to banning content they don't agree with.
That brings us to CheesyToons.com. I started this website in the hopes that it would be a fallback position in case YouTube banned my channel, or decided one day that I should be demonetized because of "reasons". They haven't demonetized my channel yet, but they have demonetized some of my videos that have been up and monetized for months. They have also begun to shadow ban me and unsub many of my subscribers. My like to dislike ratio is still in the upper ninety percentile range, but my views per video have dropped by two-thirds. For the next few months, I plan to concentrate most of my efforts on this website in the hopes that it will be a source of entertainment for those seeking an alternative to YouTube. All good things must come to an end, but sometimes it just means that something better is just around the corner.
A big heartfelt thank you to those who have stuck by me and encouraged me to go forward instead of backing down. A very special thank you to all of those who have helped by donating as well. You have no idea how much it has meant to me. Please share this website with as many people as you can and sign up for the mailing list so you'll be notified every time a new video is posted.
Sincerely,
